Infinix note 40 5G Unboxing: Features

Design and Display
The Infinix Note 40 5G looks pretty good at first glance. There is a gradient finish at the back which looks quite attractive. It is made of plastic, but it still looks premium. The weight is a bit high, but it doesn’t seem like a big issue.
One thing I liked is this big 6.78-inch AMOLED display. This display comes with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The 120Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and gaming quite smooth. The display is quite bright and the colors are also quite vibrant.
Performance
The Infinix Note 40 5G comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. This processor is good enough for everyday use. You can easily run apps, browse the web and also surf social media.
However, if you are expecting high-end gaming then this phone may disappoint you a bit. Performance can lag a bit during gaming.
Camera
The Infinix Note 40 5G comes with a triple camera system. The main camera is 48MP, along with a depth sensor and a macro lens. Photos come out well in good daylight, but low-light photography can be a bit of a letdown.
Video recording is limited to 1080p, which is a bit disappointing in 2024. The front camera is 16MP which is fine for selfies and video calling.
Battery Life
The Infinix Note 40 5G has a 5000mAh battery. This battery easily lasts a whole day. With moderate use, you can also get up to a day and a half.
The phone supports 33W fast charging. It also supports 15W wireless charging, which is a very good feature in this price range.
Software
The Infinix Note 40 5G comes with Android 14 out of the box. This is a good thing, but this phone comes with a custom skin which comes with some bloatware apps.
You may not have to use these apps, but they can be a bit annoying. Hopefully the company will reduce these bloatware apps through updates in future.
Infinix note 40 5G Price and Availability
The price of Infinix Note 40 in India is ₹ 19,999. This phone comes in only one variant, which has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
But, don’t be disappointed! You can buy this phone for a reduced price of ₹ 17,999 by taking advantage of bank offers of ₹ 2,000. Also, Infinix is offering a MagPad for free during the initial sale, which is said to be worth ₹ 2,000.
Infinix Note 40 is available in two colors – Obsidian Black and Titan Gold. You can buy it from Flipkart from June 26.
Conclusion
If you are looking for a mid-range 5G smartphone with a big display, good battery life and wireless charging feature, then this phone can be a good option for you.
However, there are some drawbacks like average gaming performance and a bit weak camera performance in low light.
