First of all let’s talk about the design. When you hold this phone in your hand, you will feel only one thing – premium. This phone comes with a quad-curved display, meaning it is curved from the top, bottom, and sides as well. The 45° curve is so sleek that the phone almost looks bezel-less, which gives it a high-end look.
I used its Zephyr color variant, which comes with a vegan leather finish. Not only does it look stunning, but it also feels super comfortable in hand – just 180 grams and 8.2mm slim.
Motorola has left no stone unturned in terms of protection as well. The Gorilla Glass 7i protects the display from scratches and drops, and the IP68 + IP69 rating makes it water and dust resistant. There is also Military Standard 810H certification, which means this phone can handle rough use. I used it without a cover, and the in-hand feel was absolutely great.
Yes, accidental touches can be a slight problem with the curved display, but Motorola’s palm rejection software is so good that there were no major issues.
Display: Vibrant and Bright
6.7-inch P-OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate – this display is absolutely awesome. With a peak brightness of 1450 nits, the screen is clearly visible even in the sun. Colours are vibrant, and with HDR10+ support, watching movies and videos is a whole different experience. The PANTONE-validated display accurately renders skin tones, which is a bonus for photography lovers.
One small thing – curved edges sometimes cause light reflection, but it is not a dealbreaker. Sound quality is also top-notch with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support. Overall, the display and audio combo is absolutely amazing in this price range.
Performance: Fast and Smooth
The Moto Edge 60 Fusion is powered by the Dimensity 7400 chipset, which comes with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. I had expected the UFS 2.2 storage to be a bit slow, but Motorola’s optimizations shocked me. App opening speed, multitasking, and video rendering – everything is lightning fast. I compared it with the Realme P3 Pro, and it was surprisingly faster.
For gaming, this phone is perfect for casual gamers. 60fps gaming is smooth, and there were no overheating issues thanks to the vapor chamber cooling. It scored 674,000 on Geekbench and stability tests showed 71% (CPU Throttle) and 99% (Wild Life Extreme). In daily use, the animations seem a bit too fast, which sometimes feels jittery, but this is minor and may get fixed with a software update.
Talking about software, the Android 15-based Hello UI is absolutely clean and bloatware-free. There is a promise of 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates along with near-stock Android experience. Features like Smart Connect, Moto Secure, and Family Spaces make daily use even better. One small complaint – there is no dedicated gallery app, Google Photos has to be used only.
Camera:
In the camera department, the Moto Edge 60 Fusion genuinely surprised me. There is a combo of 50MP Sony Lytia 700C main sensor with OIS, 13MP ultra-wide, and 32MP selfie camera. The colours, saturation, and clarity of photos are absolutely on-point. Portrait shots (2x zoom) and ultra-wide photos are both impressive. Macro shots also come out well with the ultra-wide lens.
AI features like Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Moto’s own photo enhancement engine further enhance photos. Low-light photography is also decent, and the selfie camera delivers natural-looking results.
Battery & Charging: All-Day Power
Fitting a 5500mAh battery in such a slim phone is Motorola’s masterstroke. In my usage – which was accompanied by heavy multitasking and social media use – this phone gives 7-8 hours of screen-on time, which lasts more than a day. The 68W TurboPower charger charges 0-50% in just 15 minutes. AI-based smart charging and power management further optimizes battery life.
One small problem – I don’t know why Motorola removed the screen-on time tracking feature. But I tracked with Digital Wellbeing, and the results are impressive.
Security & Connectivity: No Compromises
The in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock are both super fast. Connectivity is top-notch, with 16 5G bands, Wi-Fi 6, and VoNR carrier aggregation. I got 5G+ in Navi Mumbai, and call quality was superb. I didn’t face any network issues.
AI Features: Practical and Useful
The Moto Edge 60 Fusion also gives a little taste of AI. Features like Gemini integration, Circle to Search, Magic Canvas (image generation), and Update Me (notification summaries) are useful. Moto’s own AI engine also gives handy tools for notes, screenshots, and recordings. These AI features aren’t flagship-level, but they’re quite practical for daily use.
Final Verdict: Should you buy this phone?
Moto Edge 60 Fusion is an all-rounder phone that gives flagship vibes in the budget of 25,000. Design, display, camera, performance, and battery – this phone impresses in every department. Minor cons like fast animations or lack of dedicated gallery app aside, this phone is a solid choice in this price range.
