Now with its WhatsApp beta for android 2.24.11.16 they have announced the new double tap reaction feature in WhatsApp for android beta. WhatsApp is developing new feature for the users through which the users can react to messages with more ease.
Meaning that this new feature will allow users to react to any messages by simply double tapping it. Yes, only a double-tap will do the task. In this new double tap reaction feature in WhatsApp for android beta users can not only react to messages with a double tap but also to any photo, videos, gif etc.

Is this feature really useful ?
The answer is yes, you can react to any messages and media or anything, that is good feature but now in this too you can do it by only a double tap. This will save unnecessary efforts and bothering. Users will now use reaction feature more now because of its simple double tap use. It will enhance communication and engagement in the conversation and will encourage more expressiveness too.
It will prove itself as a useful and efficient feature as it helps users through many ways like increasing interaction, helping in expressing users emotions in the conversation, removing the time consuming process as compared to old way to react, and providing lesser efforts and creating ease for reaction.
The double tap reaction feature
WhatsApp announced about their new shortcut to media reaction. This feature enhances the interaction by allowing its users to react on photos, media or GIFs and offers more efficient way to express emotions. With the recent updates and features it seems that WhatsApp is now focusing on developing additional features for us users.
They are seeing for new ways to increase user interaction by allowing them to react on messages by simple double-tap. This feature will increase the speed in reaction process and makes it more convenient for users to express emotions.
By this double tap feature for reaction, users can only double tap and react with a default heart emoji and they don’t need to bother by opening reaction tray and pic same emoji again and again. Users will need to open the tray options for reaction only when they want to use different emoji for reactions other wise it will react with a heart emoji by default if you only tap is double times.
This feature is simple to use and understand and helpful for the users and that makes it more convenient. Also it may seem a minor change but can be less bothering and taking less efforts for such small tasks to react on a message or media.
How to disable it ?
To disable this there is no way for now but if there is a need and WhatsApp does it we will let you know. For now to disable or remove this feature is not planned if any user founds it irritating. However it will surely not cause any inconvenience.
