Design and Display
The first thing that catches attention as soon as you hold the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro in your hands is its premium build quality. This phone comes in three materials – ceramic, glass and vegan leather. The vegan leather variant that we have in our hands looks quite attractive.
This leather is soft to touch and is not slippery. It also rarely catches fingerprints. Overall, this phone not only looks good, but is also very comfortable to hold.
Now let’s talk about the display. Ace 3 Pro has a 6.78-inch BOE panel with 1.5K resolution. This display supports 120Hz refresh rate, which gives a very smooth experience during scrolling and gaming. The brightness of the display is quite good and also shows HDR content brilliantly.
Performance and software
Now let’s come to performance, which is the biggest feature of OnePlus Ace 3 Pro. This phone is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and up to 12GB of RAM. You can understand that this combo handles any app or game easily.
Whether you want to play PUBG Mobile or do high-end video editing, this phone can do everything without any problem.
Heat management is also quite good. The phone does get a little hot during gaming, but not so much that it becomes uncomfortable.
In terms of software, the Ace 3 Pro runs on OxygenOS 14, which is based on Android 13. OxygenOS has always been known for customization and this tradition continues in the Ace 3 Pro as well. You get a lot of themes, wallpapers and customization options. Also, this OS is quite bloatware free.
Camera
The camera performance is where the Ace 3 Pro lags a bit. It has a 50MP Sony IMX90 sensor as the main camera. This sensor is definitely old, but it takes good pictures in good light. There is a slight letdown in low-light photography, but the night mode definitely helps a bit.
The ultra-wide and macro cameras are 8MP and 2MP respectively. Both these cameras are mediocre. Photos taken with the ultra-wide camera lack a bit of detail, and the macro camera has a very low resolution.
There is a 16MP front camera for selfies. This camera takes good selfies, but can be a bit overexposed in daylight.
Overall, the camera on the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is good, but not the best. If you are a photography enthusiast, you might be a little disappointed.
Battery and Charging
The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro has a massive 6100mAh battery. This battery easily lasts a full day, and can even last up to a day and a half with moderate use.
The phone supports 100W super-fast charging, through which you can charge it from 0 to 100% in just 25 minutes.
