If you are thinking whether you should buy Realme P3 Pro 5G or not, then this review is for you. I have used this phone for a day, and whatever experience I have, I will tell you in a simple and straightforward way. If you want to know about a new smartphone, then this review is absolutely perfect for you.

Price and First Sale Experience

I bought this phone for ₹ 22,000, but in the offer you can buy it for up to ₹ 21,000. The demand was quite high in the first sale, but I got it easily. If you also wait for the sale, you can get a good discount.

Design: Unique and Stylish Look

Now let’s come to the design. Realme P3 Pro 5G comes with a matte finish, which gives a premium look and also does not allow fingerprints to be applied. Its back panel glows when it is a little dark, which makes it even more unique. The circular camera module is given in the center, which gives the phone a flagship look.

The biggest thing that I liked is that the phone is quite thin, although it has a big battery of 6000mAh. Its weight is just 193 grams, which makes it quite comfortable to hold in hand.

Build Quality: Solid and Durable

Realme has done wonders in terms of build quality as well. This phone comes with IP69 rating, which means if water accidentally falls in it or there is high pressure water, the phone will still be safe. Gorilla Glass 7i protection is available, which protects from scratches.

Haptics motor is also of absolute flagship level, which means the vibration feedback of the phone feels quite premium.

Display: Premium Quality Experience

The display of this phone is 1.5K resolution AMOLED, which also supports HDR10+. The bezels are quite slim which gives a good immersive experience. If you like watching YouTube or Netflix, then you will definitely like its display.

The fingerprint scanner is given inside the display which is quite fast. But one thing that could have been even better is the LTPO panel, which is not given in it. Still, this display is one of the best options in this price range.

Sound Quality: Enjoy Dual Speaker

Realme has also paid attention to the sound. It has dual stereo speakers which are quite loud and clear. The headphone jack is not given, which is a bit disappointing, but the sound quality is absolutely amazing. If you like gaming or listening to music, then its sound will impress you.

Software: Some Glitches of Realme UI 3.0

The phone runs on Realme UI 3.0, which is Android 14 based. You will get 2 major Android updates and security updates for 3 years. The software is smooth, but there is one problem – bloatware is too much. You will have to work a bit to uninstall unwanted apps.

There is another small problem – animation glitches. When you open-close the same app repeatedly, the animation will look smooth, but the animation disappears when you open different apps. This is a small problem that can be fixed with a software update.

Performance: Powerful Processor

This phone is absolutely amazing in terms of performance. It has Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor which comes with UFS 3.0 storage and LPDDR4X RAM. I tested this phone in the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

If we look at the benchmarks, we get 8 lakh+ AnTuTu score, which is impressive for a mid-range phone. App opening speed is fast and multitasking also runs smoothly. But the same animation glitch causes a little problem here too.

Gaming: Real Test of PUBG and BGMI

If you are a gaming enthusiast, then PUBG or BGMI will run smoothly on this phone. The game runs butter smooth even at 90Hz refresh rate and ultra settings. Touch response is fast and there is no heating issue either. This phone is a solid option for gaming.

Battery Life: 6000mAh and 67W Fast Charging

Battery life is absolutely solid. Despite having 6000mAh battery, the phone is quite thin. You will get 1.5-2 days of battery backup in normal use. It will run comfortably for 1 day even in heavy use.

It has 67W fast charging support which gives full charge in 50 minutes. Charger is provided in the box, so there is no need to buy it separately.

Camera: Great in daylight, a little weak at night

Camera performance is decent. 50MP primary sensor which comes with Sony IMX766 sensor. Ultra-wide and macro lens are also good, but a little noise is visible in low-light. Selfie camera is 16MP which performs well in daylight.

If you want photos for social media then this phone is good, but if you want pro-level photography then you will have to compromise a little.

Final Verdict: Should you buy this phone?

After one day of experience, I liked this phone overall. This is a balanced phone which is solid in design, display, performance, and battery life. Software could have been a little smoother, but an update may fix this problem.

If you are looking for an AI-centric phone that comes with long-lasting battery and powerful performance, then Realme P3 Pro 5G is a solid option. But if you want a phone with a clean UI and best camera, then it would be better to look at other options.
