Redmi Turbo 4 Pro to Launch Later This Month With Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is once again stepping into the limelight, as the company’s next model is finally announced. Fans are building excitement around the device, since it is rumored to come with some powerful hardware, with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor.

As a series that claims to bring a flagship level of performance at a middle-range price tag, the new model will continue this series’ legacy with a few surprises up its sleeve. Today in this article, we will discuss what features you will get in the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, its launch date, and price.

Launch Date of Redmi Turbo 4 Pro

It is going  to be launched by the end of April 2025, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is confirmed to launch sometime in April 2025, probably in China first. This was suggested by Redmi General Manager Thomas Wang who posted this on Web that a new Redmi phone with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is coming soon. However, he didn’t name the device, but his responses to fan questions are geared towards saying that the phone in question is, indeed, the Turbo 4 Pro.

Coming globally, the POCO F7 is expected to be the phone that will run under the POCO brand, besides existing Redmi phones being launched internationally under the POCO brand again, like the POCO F5 and POCO F3 Pro.

Display and Design of Redmi Turbo 4 Pro

The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro’s one of the highlights is its 1.5K resolution display that is quite sharp and at the same time battery efficient. It is expected to have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and animations on the phone. For this reason, this is ideal for gamers and lovers of content who love immersive visuals.

The phone is said to have come with a premium build, with a glass back panel and a metal mid-frame to give the flagship-like finish. As a consequence, Redmi is also concentrating on CMF (Color, Material, and Finish) to verify that the phone does a great job also delivers a great time.

Key Specifications

The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will be one of the first phones to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which is built on a 4nm process. This processor is designed for flagship-level performance but comes at a more affordable price point than the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Qualcomm claims up to 31% better CPU performance compared to the previous generation.

Below is a summary of the expected key specifications:

Feature Details
Processor Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (4nm, octa-core)
RAM Up to 16GB LPDDR5x
Storage Up to 512GB UFS 4.0
Display 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate
Rear Cameras 50MP + 8MP dual camera setup
Front Camera 20MP selfie camera
Battery Capacity Over 7,000mAh (rumored)
Charging 90W wired fast charging
Build Glass back, metal frame
OS Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS

Those leaks also indicate that the battery capacity is much larger than 7,000mAh. As such, the Turbo 4 Pro would fall into the ranks of the longest-lasting smartphones currently on the market, and the 90W fast charging means that when the time comes to recharge, it won’t take too long.

Performance & Software

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 features LPDDR5x memory and UFS 4.0 storage, thus apps and games will load faster and multitasking will be a breeze. On the software side, the phone should roll out with the latest iteration of Android 15 on its shiny, new HyperOS — the new evolution of MIUI and the company’s effort to bring a smoother animation and more advanced cross device functionality.

With new hardware and software, this combination implies that a Turbo 4 Pro will be able to deliver performance levels where top-of-the-line flagship phones are, at a palm-beating price.

Price and Availability

At this moment, there’s no word on the device’s official pricing. Although the phone’s specifications and comparison with similar models suggest that the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will cost CNY 2,500-3,000 (roughly ₹30,000-₹35,000 INR), it’s still unknown whether its price will be static or change compared to previous models.

The Indian version (which was launched as POCO F7) may also be available in two or more variants, as per some reports.

  • 12GB + 256GB
  • 16GB + 512GB

Available colour options may include Black, Silver, Green, and perhaps even a specially themed model like the ones Xiaomi have collaborated on in the past, like with the Harry Potter ones.

The phone in China may be bought from Mi Stores, JD.com, and Tmall, while in India,  POCO F7 can be expected to go up through Flipkart and Mi.com, with offline retailers perhaps being an option.
