Other upgrades include the Exynos 1580 chip and a larger 6.7″ Super AMOLED display with slimmer bezels on all sides.

In today’s article, we will discuss that Samsung is planning to launch a new smartphone whose name is going to be Samsung Galaxy A56, what will be the price of this smartphone, and when is it likely to be launched in the market.

Samsung Galaxy A56 Design And Camera Improvement

The phone is slimmer than its predecessor, with a 7.4mm profile and has a new design for the camera island; there are no more protruding lenses.

The camera remains unchanged – there’s a 50 MP f/1.8 main camera, a 12 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide snapper and a 5 MP f/2.4 macro lens on the back, and a 12 MP f/2.2 selfie camera on the front. What has changed is the algorithm, which AI now powers.

The Galaxy A56 features context-sensitive image enhancement, a low-noise mode for better nighttime photos and videos, and faster continuous shooting. The seamless zoom speed between the main and ultra-wide cameras has also doubled, and it now takes less than 430 milliseconds to switch.

Samsung Galaxy A56 Display

The display has also been revamped, as it is now 1200 nits bright HBM and goes up to 1900 nits at peak brightness. It maintains the Full HD+ resolution and comes with Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. Speaking of strength, the back of the Galaxy A56 also features Victus+ and has an aluminum frame.

Samsung Galaxy A56 Specifications

The Galaxy A56 is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, the phone is likely to get power from Samsung’s new Exynos 1580 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Battery life could also be a strong point. The phone is said to house a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W fast charging. The charging capability is a big upgrade, as even Samsung’s vanilla flagship model the Galaxy S25, still has 25W wired charging. The software side looks good too, as the device is expected to run One UI 15 based on Android 7.

This is the first phone to feature the Exynos 1580 chipset, although Samsung introduced this SoC in October. The Exynos 1580 is a big upgrade over its predecessor, giving the Galaxy A56 a big performance gain over the A55. It has a 2.9 GHz CPU, AMD-based GPU with 2x WGP and NPU with 14.7 TOPS, which means performance should be 37% better than last year. Sadly, the rumors about 12 GB of RAM did not turn out to be true, and there is only 8 GB of RAM here.

Samsung Galaxy A56 Price And Availability

The alleged pricing and pre-order offers for the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 have been shared on Threads.
