Shubman Gill was born on 8 September 1999 in Fazilka city of Punjab, his father’s name is Lakhwinder Singh Gill, who is a farmer. Shubman Gill’s father was very fond of playing cricket since childhood, but he could not fulfill his dream. Domestic Career of Shubman Gill

Firstly in 2016-17 Gill made his debut for Vijay Hazare Trophy and got List A in it. He then made his first-class debut for Punjab in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy. After this, Gill made his first IPL debut in 2018, in which he played for Kolkata Knight Riders. He was then named in India C’s squad for the 2018–19 Deodhar Trophy.

In the final round robin match against India A, he scored an unbeaten century, which helped India C reach the final. During Punjab’s match against Tamil Nadu in the Ranji Trophy, Gill scored 268, his first double century. Along with this, he also played an excellent inning of 148 runs in 154 balls against Hyderabad in Ranji Trophy.

Gill also received the Emerging Player of the Tournament award in the Indian Premier League in 2019. In August 2019, Gill was named the captain of the India Blue team for the Duleep Trophy. After this, in 2020, he also captained in the Deodhar Trophy. Then he left Kolkata Knight Riders before the 2022 IPL auction and was picked by the Gujarat Titan team. Shubman Gill made his first international debut in the Under-19 series against England. Later that year, he was named the vice-captain for India’s team at the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
