This phone has a good value because of its 6.6-inch display, 5000mAh battery, and decent cameras. Today in this article we will discuss the Tecno Spark 10C and its review of the mobile key specs and many more things.

Design and Build Quality: Premium Look on a Budget

Tecno Spark 10C has a great stylish-looking design and it looks more expensive than its price tag. The matte finish on the back feels smooth, however fingerprints will attract. It comes in Meta Black, Meta Blue, and Meta Green which is of a modern style and distinguished among budget phones.

The phone is 8.5mm thick and weighs 192g for comfortable holding. The fingerprint sensor mounted on the side is easy to reach unlocking is fast and convenient. A sturdy plastic frame that isn’t cheap for the build quality.

Display: Smooth and Responsive

Its 6.6-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate provides you a smooth scrolling and animations than a standard 60Hz screen. It’s a 720p resolution, a little bit blurred but good enough for both watching videos and browsing.

Indoors the screen is bright, but not so much under direct sunlight. The colors are good for a budget phone, not as vibrant as more expensive models, but the angles are decent. If you watch a lot of videos, you wish for higher resolution, but for most users, it’s more than enough.

Performance: Good for Daily Use

The Spark 10C is powered by a Unisoc T606 octa-core processor. The chipset may not be high-end, but it doesn’t have any issues with daily tasks like social media, messaging, and web browsing. The 8GB RAM will make sure that your multitasking will never become slow, switching between apps won’t take a while.

The phone is okay for casual gaming but it isn’t intended for loading demanding games like PUBG or Call of Duty Mobile with high graphics settings. Basic games like Subway Surfers, Candy Crush, and Free Fire run smoothly. The 128GB storage is quite fine for a budget phone, though you can get up to 1TB of storage with a microSD card.

Software: Feature-Packed but Has Bloatware

The Spark 10C runs on Android 13 with Tecno’s HiOS skin. Extra features on HiOS include smart gestures, themes, split-screen multitasking, etc but it also has preinstalled apps (bloatware) that you might want to cut/remove.

The interface is also easy to use and you can customize it as you may like. Some of the ads and notifications belong to system apps but these can be disabled in settings.

Camera: Decent in Daylight, Struggles at Night

The 16MP main camera is capable of taking good daytime photos. The colors are accurate and pretty good for a budget phone. In low light, the quality falters although it does render the images a bit grainy.

Portrait shots are served by the 0.08MP depth sensor, but it does not bring much to the table in this regard. The portrait mode background blur is only okay and often misses edges of the subject.

It has a good 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. A nice touch is low light, thanks to the help of dual front flash.

Recording video is capped at 1080p at 30fps, with no stabilization, so extremely shaky video may be recorded if you move a lot.

Price and Availability: Good Value for Money

At ₹12,499 (approx), the Tecno Spark 10C is one of the best budget phones with these specs in India. You can easily get it from online stores like Amazon and Flipkart or retail stores.

But its 90Hz display and big battery come with an advantage over phones like the Redmi 12C and Realme Narzo 50A at this price.

Should You Buy It?

If you are looking for an all-rounder, big display, good performance with a long battery life, the Tecno Spark 10C is a perfect choice for budget users.

Pros:

  • Affordable price
  • 90Hz smooth display
  • Big 5000mAh battery
  • Decent main camera in daylight
  • 128GB storage with expandable option

Cons:

  • 720p resolution (not Full HD)
  • Low-light camera performance is weak

By offering a better display, good cameras, and durability, the Tecno Spark 10C is as affordable as it gets, but not the cheapest.
