Google Restores Shaadi.com: Google began restoring apps from Indian digital companies on Saturday.

Google has restored apps such as Shaadi.com Info Edge Naukri Gulf, Naukri 99acres, and Naukri Gulf by Info Edge.

The Internet and Mobile Association of India has criticized Indian companies for removing their apps.

Google, facing intense criticism on Saturday, began restoring apps from Indian digital companies which were removed from Play Store. Sources confirm that Google has restored apps such as Shaadi.com and Info Edge’s Naukri.

Sanjeev Bikchandani, co-founder of Info Edge, confirmed the news in a blog post on X. He announced that Info Edge apps were back in the Play Store.

IAMAI has also criticised Google

The Internet and Mobile Association of India, or IAMAI, had earlier in the day criticized Indian companies for removing apps from their Play Store and asked Google to reinstate those apps.

Google removed from its Play Store more than a dozen applications from Indian digital companies. This included Shaadi.com Matrimony.

Google had announced that it would take action against 10 app developers who refused its payment policy, despite adhering to other app store payment policies.

These apps have been removed

Google has also removed applications from companies such as Altt, Stage, and Aha streaming platforms; Truly Madly, and Quack Quack, dating apps; KuCoo FM, audio content platform, and FRND, a social networking application.
