Apple iPhone 16 will Introduce Neural Engine Chipset for Enhanced AI Performance: There’s a new report about Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 16 lineup that AI features will be included in it. Apple will enhance its hardware to increase performance and features.

Apple is working on its forthcoming iPhone 16 lineup these days. Apple’s primary focus is to offer a better user experience via AI performance. In order to do this, he’s upgrading his equipment.
Since a while it has been reported from the fact that Apple is currently working to develop AI functions specifically for iPhone 16. These features will be available by the company’s next software update, iOS 18.

Apple will update Neural Engine
The firm is looking into making adjustments to the hardware in order to enhance the AI features with iOS 18. as well as the performance of the device.
According to the Economic Daily News report claims that Apple will improve the A18 chipset within the iPhone 16 series with Neural Engine.
Alongside the mobile processor A18, Apple will also upgrade its M4 chipset to the next generation with the latest Neural Engine.

iPhone 15 series has 16 core Neural Engine
The latest iPhone 15 series models are equipped with a 16-core Neural Engine. In addition the same amount of cores were available for models like the iPhone 14, iPhone 13 as well as the iPhone 12 series.
iPhone 11 and iPhone XS models are equipped with the 8-core Neural Engine. In addition, the iPhone 8 series was given the Neural Engine with two cores.

The reason for the increase in number of cores within the chipset could be related to AI features that are available on iOS 18.
If the reports are to be taken as true this, the AI functions will available only on the iPhone 16 lineup.
Apple has been able to boost efficiency of the Neural Engine, but without adding more cores.
Apple has admitted its involvement in AI features. These features are expected to be available by iOS 18.
These updates are for iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro along with iPhone 15 Pro Max could be launched in the second quarter of 2024.
