SSC GD Constable Admit Card Download: Staff Selection Commission conducts a written test for candidates who submit a valid application online for the Constable (General duty) vacancies.
SSC General Duty Admit Card 2024 is released once the examination schedules are announced by the board.
The exam will take place in February or March 2024. The commission has released the SSC Constable Exam dates. This page contains all the information about the hall tickets, exam date for GD Constable, selection process, test pattern, etc.
The SSC Admit Card will be sent to applicants at least one to two weeks prior the exam date. The SSC website will require the online application number to access the document. ssc.nic.in.

Online applications were accepted for SSC GD Recruitment between 01 December 2023 and 31 December 2023. Millions of candidates participated in the application process. The recruitment drive is not a waiting game for candidates.
SSC GD Recruitment Procedure and Examination Structure
If they pass all phases of selection, the applicants will be appointed as Constables GD. The applicants will have to take part in four phases of the selection procedure, after which their performance will then be evaluated for suitability. Candidates will be appointed constables to various defence forces in the country.
- Computer Based Examinations (CBEs)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- Physical Standard Test (PST).
- Detailed Medical Examination
Computer Based Exam
In the first phase, candidates will be required to take the Computer Based Examination. The examination will take place online and if you pass it, you will be eligible to participate in the next phases of the selection.
- The test will consist of 80 MCQ questions.
- Each question is worth 02 marks.
- For incorrect answers, a negative mark of 0.25 will be deducted.
- The questions in the test will be at Matriculation level.
- The test will last 60 minutes.

(PET) Physical Efficiency Test
Aspirants who have passed the written exam will be invited to take the Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates must complete the race in the time limit.
- For Male Candidates – Five Kms in twenty four minutes.
- For female candidates – 1,6 Kms in eight minutes and thirty seconds.
(PST) Physical Standard Test
Candidates who have passed the PET exam must take the Physical Standard Test. The selection will be based on the standards and fitness of applicants as per the Defence Forces‘ norms.

Candidates will find important information on the Admit Card for SSC Constables GD. Aspirants are advised to keep the card clean and secure until the end of the recruitment process.
You will see details like the Name and address of candidate, name and address of exam centre, photo & signature of candidate, etc.
If you do not have the necessary documentation, you will be denied entry into the centre. A call letter alone is not enough; applicants must also bring two passport-sized photos and proof of identity to the examination hall.
