Honor Smart Ring: Honor CEO announces their own smart-looking ring under development just a few days after Samsung showed off the Galaxy Ring to the world.
Honor CEO Confirmed Development of Honor Smart Ring
A day after Samsung announced it’s Galaxy Ring at the Mobile World Congress 2024, Honor, a Chinese smartphone maker, has revealed that it is developing the smart ring Honor Ring.
In a conversation in an interview with CNBC, Honor CEO George Zhao said, ‘Internally we have this type of solution. We are working on it which means that in the near future, you will own the Honor Ring.
Like Samsung’s Galaxy Ring, the Honor Ring is also one of the fitness-related devices with the focus on health. Honor is already a maker of smartwatches and fitness bands, and the forthcoming Honor Ring is likely to be sold as an ecosystem device.
In addition, Honor also produces computing devices such as tablets and laptops and has an array of products to choose from.
But, the majority of the products are restricted to a few markets. The Honor brand is available in India, Honor recently made its return and has released two phones in the past.
Honor was split From Huawei in 2020 following the US sanctions against Huawei. Since it was then, the company’s been launching cutting-edge consumer electronics that include smartphones with foldable designs and is also renowned for launching the tiniest foldable device in the worldthe Honor Magic V2.

At MWC 2024 The company introduced a variety of new products which include Honor Magic 6 Pro, which is the Honor Magic 6 Pro that is driven through the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which comes with features like eye tracking and AI generative capabilities.
The company also unveiled its Honor Magic V2 RSR, the special edition foldable that was designed by Porsche Design in collaboration together with Porsche Design.
