Code Blocks: 

Code blocks will allow users to share code snippets in a way that is easy to read and understand. This will be especially useful for software developers and programmers who need to share code with others. To create a code block, users will need to surround the code with backticks (`).

Quotes: 

Quotes will allow users to highlight specific parts of a message. This can be helpful for quoting someone else’s words, or for adding emphasis to a particular point. To create a quote, users will need to surround the quoted text with quotation marks (>).

Lists: 

Lists will allow users to create bulleted or numbered lists. This can be helpful for organizing information, or for creating to-do lists. To create a list, users will need to start each item with a bullet point or a number.

Let us tell you that right now the new message text formatting tool of WhatsApp is available only to try on desktop. Right now, it cannot be used by everyone. But according to a report by Webtainfo, it has also been told that soon it will be available in both Android and iOS versions.

How to Use the WhatsApp’s New Text Formatting Tools

It is very easy to use this new formatting tools of WhatsApp. You have to use some symbols to use it.

Let us understand in detail how you will be able to use these three new formatting tools –

Code Block: First of all, if you want to write a code block, then you have to write any text and put backticks (`) at the beginning and end of the text. Now as soon as you send the message, that message will come by writing like a code block. As you can also see in the picture below.

Quote: Now to write a quote, first of all you have to type any message or quote and put a quotation mark (>) in front of that quote. Then as soon as you send that message, your text will come written in the form of quotes.

Now to make a list, all you have to do is keep writing the name of the item followed by a dash (-). And as soon as you send the message, all your written items will be prepared in a list.

So, in this way you can use all these three formatting tools in WhatsApp. However, this formatting tool is currently being developed and is only for desktop users. But soon it will be available in Android and iOS versions as well.
