iOS 18 Release Date
Apple has not yet officially announced the release date of iOS 18. But traditionally, the company unveils the new iOS version during its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) every year in June.
After this, a public beta is released in June or July for developers and enthusiasts. Then, with the new iPhone in September comes the stable public release to the general public.
Keeping this pattern in mind, we can expect iOS 18 to launch sometime in September 2024.

1. Hearing Aid Mode
According to a report, with the iOS 12 update in 2018, the “Live Listen” feature came to Apple AirPods. This amazing feature turns your iPhone into a special mic.
It transmits whatever sound it hears from the iPhone directly to your AirPods. Suppose you are sitting in a class and the professor is teaching standing at a distance, then you can place your iPhone in front of him and hear his voice clearly directly in your AirPods.
Additionally, in 2021, Apple also introduced the “Conversation Boost” feature for AirPods Pro. This feature is especially useful during phone calls.

According to an earlier report by Mark Gurman, Apple may include several AI features in iOS 18, including auto-summarization, an auto-complete function for apps, and more.

The report also says that Apple may introduce new AI-based developer tools, which will provide developers with better abilities to innovate within the Apple ecosystem.

iOS 18 Supported Devices
iOS 18 is expected to be available for iPhone 8 and all subsequent iPhones. This means that older iPhones like the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone 6s series will not receive the iOS 18 update.
