We have all played PUBG and liked it’s gameplay and soon it became very famous in India. But when it was banned another game took its place and this game was BGMI. It became more popular than PUBG and was played by millions of gamers in India. But in July 2022, BGMI was banned in India due to security reasons. However, Krafton has stated that BGMI is Returning to India soon.

The Ban On Chinese Apps

BGMI was threatened with ban from the Indian gaming market following India’s 2020 ban on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), another popular Krafton game with over 100 million users.

As part of a wider ban on more than 100 mobile apps coming from China, New Delhi started the crackdown on PUBG. Following a border standoff between China and India at Galwan Valley, this action was taken.

The Ban On BGMI

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), a well-known game, will be returning to the Android and iOS platforms, according to Krafton, the company that created it.

In India, BGMI was banned in July 2022 due to security reasons. Krafton has confirmed that they will soon release a download version of the game, though.
