Leaked Pictures Of Google Pixel 8 Pro
Android Setting (@android_setting) on X (previously Twitter) was the first to discover a picture of the Google Pixel 8 Pro on the Google Store website. Before Google took the picture down from the website, Mishaal Rahman shared it on Twitter.
The smartphone is depicted on the page in the colour Porcelain White. It initially seems similar to the Pixel 7 Pro from the previous year.
The Pixel 7 Pro, which was released alongside the Pixel 7 in 2022 seemed to feature a triple camera setup. However it appears that the Pixel 7 only has a camera housed within a pill shaped camera module.
What’s New In Google Pixel 8 Pro?
The image also seems to indicate the presence of another sensor located beside the LED flash. However, due to the resolution of the image it is difficult to determine what it is.
Year the Pixel 7 Pro was unveiled with a rear camera setup that included a telephoto lens capable of optical zoom and Googles Super Res Zoom feature. This feature combines both hardware and software to deliver the image quality.
Rumors have circulated suggesting that the upcoming Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will no longer include SIM card slots but will instead support technology.
This implies that these smartphones may be introduced as eSIM devices in regions allowing users to connect to networks without requiring a physical SIM card. Currently eSIM functionality is available in the United States, for Apples iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models.
Conclusion
According to a report, from 9to5Google it seems that Google is considering increasing the frequency of operating system updates for its smartphones powered by Tensor. The report suggests that the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro might benefit from up to five years of OS updates.
If this information turns out to be accurate it would mean that Google is providing software support compared to the combined efforts of Samsung, Oppo and OnePlus.
These companies have committed to offering four OS updates and one year of security updates, for smartphones. On the other hand all of Googles smartphones are expected to receive three OS updates and two years of security updates.
