An important news for students interested in millions of engineering of India! The admit cards of JEE Mains 2024 BE/B.Tech Paper 1 are going to be issued soon. The National Examination Agency (NTA) will activate the link to download the admit card on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.

When will BE/B.Tech Paper 1 admit card be released?

The examination of JEE Mains 2024 BE/B.Tech Paper 1 will be held on 27, 29, 30 and 31 January and 1 February 2024 in two shifts. Officially, the admit cards will be released three days before the examination. Thus, you can download the admit card since 24 January 2024.

How to download the admit card?

  • Go to the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.
  • Click on the link “Jee Mains 2024 Download Admit Card”.
  • Enter your application number and date of birth.
  • Log in and download your admit card.
  • Take a print out of the admit card and take it safely to the examination center.

JEE Main 2024: Exam Schedule

The National Examination Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2024 examination schedule. The examination will be held in two sessions.

Session 1

  • Paper 2A (Burch) and Paper 2B (Biplaning): January 24, 2024
  • Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech): 27 January, 29, 30, 31 and 1 February, 2024

Session 2

  • 1 April to 15 April, 2024
  • Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech)

Examination will be in two shifts: 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm

Total duration of exam: 3 hours

Total points: 300

Eligibility criteria

In the 12th grade examination, a minimum of 75% marks or the top 20% of the 12th grade examination of the concerned board is required.

For SC and ST candidates, qualification marks are reduced by 65%.

Specific subject combination

For admission to BE/B.Tech courses, candidates have to choose one of the following topics in the Eligibility Test:

  • Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology
  • Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science
  • Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science

For admission to birch courses, candidates have to choose one of the following subject combinations in the qualification examination:

Candidates have to download the admit card from the official website of NTA for the exam. It is necessary to take the admit card to the examination center on the day of examination.

What precautions should be taken while downloading the admit card?

  • Make sure your internet connection is stable.
  • Carefully enter your application number and date of birth.
  • Print the admit card in more than one copy and take one per examination center.
  • Do not clean and fold the admit card.
