WhatsApp’s latest feature: We all know that WhatsApp was working hard on 3rd-party chat support that lets users communicate and send messages from other messaging applications.

Additionally, a innovative WhatsApp feature is being developed that will allow users to switch off the third-party chat feature in the Android devices.

According to the report, WhatsApp is working on the possibility of removing its chat interoperability feature since it is a requirement under Article 7 of the EU regulations.

This new feature for third-party chats will emphasize the importance of control for users over sharing of data and communication preferences.

The option to deactivate the chat interoperability feature can help users who don’t want to utilize this feature.

Disabling the chat-interoperability service, users will be unable to messaging or receiving messages via chats from third-party sources. At the same time, their current third-party chats will change to a read-only state.

Furthermore, WhatsApp is also developing an option that allows users to choose which third party apps can be able to communicate with the application.

The ability to choose the third-party apps are able to communicate with WhatsApp provides users with a personalised experience as they are able to choose integration with only the services they can trust.
