WhatsApp’s new search message by date feature: Some beta testers who previously participated in WhatsApp Web’s official beta programme are now able to access a new search message by date feature, which makes it simpler for them to look for messages shared within their conversations on a particular date.
Last month we saw WhatsApp’s new search message by date feature for its web version. When searching for messages, WhatsApp users would have had a more effective and practical way to go through their message history with the help of this feature.
WhatsApp To Introduce A Calendar Button
As you can see in the above screenshot, there is a calendar button that allows users to quickly open a date picker panel in order to search for a message shared on a specific date while searching for messages in a conversation.
The fact that this feature might only be accessible to select users who have previously enrolled in WhatsApp Web’s official beta programme, which enables them to test out beta features, should not be overlooked.
Since it makes it easier to locate specific messages from previous conversations, we think this feature can benefit users in a number of ways.
WhatsApp Web Beta Testers Get Date-Based Search Feature
Date-based search has finally made it feasible to find messages from a specific date quickly, which not only saves time but also lessens the annoyance of having to scroll through lengthy chat histories.
Furthermore, since text transcriptions are required for non-text messages like voice notes, retrieving them can be challenging. In these situations, we believe that this feature is especially useful. It can also be useful for users who can’t remember how to phrase a text message.
Some beta testers who previously participated in the official beta programme can now search messages by date on the most recent version of WhatsApp Web; over the next few days, this feature will be made available to more users and even for android users.
WhatsApp’s new search message by date feature will provide improved search capabilities and will undoubtedly make things easier, whether users are trying to find a particular message from a memorable occasion or need to get crucial data from a previous date.
This will be especially helpful for users who have a lot of message archives or who need to locate specific information for business or personal purposes.
Though it is still in development, all users should soon be able to utilize the feature. Users can still locate messages by keyword or phrase in the interim by using the current search function.
