The release of the Nothing Phone 2a in India is scheduled for March 5th. It will be the company’s first global launch in India. New Delhi is the venue for this event. Before the official launch, Nothing teased the smartphone.
The hype is expected with Nothing, right? Nothing surprised some at the Mobile World Congress 2024 when it displayed the Nothing Phone 2a at the event. The showcase was not a chance for attendees to experience the phone.
However, it did reveal all the design details. The company shared images of the rear design of the Nothing Phone 2a on social media after the MWC showcase. The glyph interface will be available on the Nothing Phone 2a.
Official images of the Nothing Phone 2a reveal that it will have a horizontally aligned double camera system, located in the middle of the top.
The circular strips in the transparent design make the two cameras look like little eyes. We think it is adorable. With its ‘Fresh.Eyes’ campaign, the company has been teasing this new camera alignment.

The teasers confirm that, in fact, the Nothing Phone 2a is going to have a glyph-based interface. Many rumors suggested that the Phone 2a wouldn’t have it.
The reports were disappointing, as the “unique” experience of the Nothing phones is the glyph interface. The Phone 2a also has the usual glyph composers. You can create your own glyph patterns and assign them to specific callers.
The company has been largely mum on the details, with the exception of Carl Pei, CEO at Nothing, who confirmed that the Phone 2a would be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro processor and up to 12GB RAM.
Other variants will probably have lower RAM and storage but we do not know what they are.

Leaks suggest that the dual-camera setup of the Nothing Phone 2a is made up of two cameras with 50-megapixels each, while the front camera will have a resolution 32-megapixels.
The smartphone is also said to have a 6.7″ display with 120 Hz refresh. Phone 2a is said to have a battery capacity of 5,000mAh and will run Nothing OS 2, which is based on Android 14.
