Oppo watch X launched in Malaysia Thursday. The smartwatch is the rebranded OnePlus Watch 2. It was announced on the 26th of February at the Mobile World Congress 2024.

The new wearable has a 1.43″ AMOLED screen and is powered by a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipet. The battery is said to last up to 48-hours for heavy usage in Smart Mode.

It can also last up to 100-hours for normal use in Smart Mode and up to 12-days in Power Saving Mode.

Oppo Watch X Price, Availability

Oppo Watch X comes in two colour options: Mars Brown and Platinum Black. The smartwatch costs MYR 1,399, which is roughly. The single Bluetooth version costs Rs. 24,500.

The Oppo official website lists it for sale. It has only been launched in Malaysia. It is not known if the watch will be available in any other markets. Reports earlier indicated that a China launch could happen in March.

Specifications of the Oppo watch X

Oppo’s latest smartwatch has a round 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution 466 x 466, a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits and a 2.5D Sapphire Crystal screen.

Oppo Watch X comes with a Snapdragon chip that runs Wear OS applications and a BES2700 processor which is responsible for background activities. It has 2GB of RAM, and 32GB inbuilt storage.

The Oppo Watch X has a number of health features including all-day tracking sleep that tracks sleep quality, state, breathing rate during sleep, and snoring risks.

It also features heart rate monitoring and blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking, along with daily activity reminders.

It has over 100 sports modes and six different cardio machine types. Professional sports modes are also included.

The Oppo Watch X comes with a 500mAh lithium-ion battery that is claimed to charge it from 0 to 100 in just 60 minutes.

The watch can last up to 48-hours with heavy use, 100-hours in Smart Mode and 12 days in Power Saver Mode.
