Short -term training (STT): It is designed for individuals who have no skills for employment. The duration of these courses is usually 3 to 6 months.
Pre -Learning Recognition (RPL): It is designed for individuals who already have any efficient training and want to upgrade or remember the training course again. The duration of these courses usually range from 3 months to 1 year.
Special Projects: They provide special training to the weak section of the society so that they can be provided job facilities first.

The eligibility criteria under PMKVY 4.0 are fixed according to the course or skill. The following are general eligibility criteria:
Age: The age of the applicant should be between 15 years to 45 years. However, some other courses are provided up to the age of 49.
Educational Qualification: No educational qualification is required. However, some courses require minimal educational qualifications.
